As Covid is still out there, we are taking precautions to keep the patients, their families, and my staff safe. To keep an empty waiting room, there are fewer slots to schedule appointments so please be patient with us as we try to schedule everyone. If you have a time crunch and we can’t accommodate you, we will provide you with records and refer you to one of my many fine colleagues.
To minimize your time in the waiting room on arrival, there are 2 forms we ask you to download and fill out at home on the day of your visit. You will find the forms on this website under Office Policies/Forms. Please hand carry the forms to the office. When your child is dilated, we will advise you on the best time to return for the second part of the exam so that you do not have to hang out in the waiting room. Please note that the normal length of time from start to finish for a dilated exam is at least 2 hours.
Masks are still required in health care facilities. All patients over 2 years of age must wear a mask. Patients under 18 years of age will be examined with one adult parent or guardian only. No siblings or other relatives will be allowed into the examination room. Patients over 18 years of age may be asked to come back alone.
Please do not bring your child to the office if he or she is sick. We are not upset with last minute cancellations. We will cancel the appointment on arrival if your child has symptoms of fever, cough, watery eyes, nausea, or fatigue. There is no financial penalty for canceled appointments, and we will reschedule you in a timely fashion.
I look forward to seeing you again.
